Event Title: The Courtney Run

Wallace Cumming Park in Alma, Ontario will host the 2010 Courtney Gascho Run. Hosted by the Alma Optimists Club and Courtney's old elementary school friends, Becky Koslay and Daphne Freeman to celebrate and honour the memory of this amazing young girl who's life was sadly taken by cancer.
The event will include:
8:30 a.m. commencement of event
8:30-9:30 a.m. tallying of the donations/registration
9:30-10 a.m. speeches and presentations
10-11:30 a.m. Memorial Walk for Courtney
11:30 a.m. BBQ lunch

To pick up your pledge form contact Becky. POGO (Paediatric Oncology Group Of Ontario) http://www.pogo.ca/ is a group that the money helps families with children with cancer. They help by reimbursing the families for tests and things that would normally come out of their own pockets. Also they help the child and family through diagnosis treatment, recovery, and survivorship.
