THE ELORA FARMERS' MARKET was
established in the spring of 2005. Founded by
the owners of the Elora General Store, Barb
Lee and Rhoda Lipton, the market was
established to create a venue where growers
and producers in the community could come
and sell their wares.

The vision for the market is to remain a true
farmers’ market, one where all goods each
Saturday are locally grown produce, meats,
baking and preserves.

We are known as the World’s Prettiest
Farmers’ Market!  We see hundreds of
people coming to market now every week
and they will not only find great local foods
and treats, they find each other too. The
market is a true community hub. Our
customers’ energy is what makes the market
so special.
