On Saturday summer mornings, Bissell Park is the place to be: an idyllic riverside setting lined with trees, a board walk, places to fish and plenty of room to play, right in the heart of the village.

A visual and aromatic feast lures you to tables loaded with the region’s freshest, in-season fruits and vegetables, honey, ciders, cheeses, pasture-raised meats and poultry, jams, preserves, cut flowers, and nursery stock. Local food artisans bring fresh bread, prepared foods and other goodies.

The warmth and energy of the market vendors and riverside setting add to the pleasure of finding the best in local fare.

This is an authentic farmers’ market experience, where you greet old friends and make new ones. Come and meet the people who grow your food.

There are food demonstrations, guest artists and entertainment weekly.
